Adrienne Villani, Social Media Manager, is responsible for generating awareness about EnterprisingSchools.com via social media channels. Additionally, she manages contributors and contributions to the EnterprisingSchools.com blog, creating a forum for lively discussion and debate on the affordable private schools sector globally. At Intellecap, Adrienne is involved with Beyond Profit, a new publication on social enterprise in developing and emerging markets. For the publication, she conceptualizes and contributes much of the print and online content, manages Beyond Profit's social media presence, and is actively engaged in creating partnerships.
Prior to joining Intellecap in January 2009, Adrienne worked in the NGO sector in India, Eastern Europe, and the United States. Her experiences varied from working in a maternal and child health clinic in Washington, D.C. to teaching English in Croatia and Romania to working in care and support for HIV+ children in Delhi.
Trained as a demographer, she received her M.Sc. in Population and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she concentrated on the demographic effects of son preference on the north Indian marriage market. She holds her Bachelor's Degree in Italian Studies from Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.
