EduSummit 2011: What will catalyse the growth of Education Sector in Northern Region?

The Education System in Northern Region confronted with several issues like quality of education, shortage of good faculty, inadequate funding sources, multiplicity of regulatory controls and clearances, gap in industry institute linkages, students’ employability, skill crunch, etc, trails the Western and Southern regions of the country significantly. To address these issues in an integrated manner, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organizing a focused initiative titled “EduSummit 2011 – What will catalyse the growth of Education Sector in Northern Region? on Friday, 4 February 2011 at CII (NR) Headquarters, Chandigarh. Eminent speakers from leading educational institutions/universities, government decision & policy makers, corporates and other experts from R&D organizations would share their expertise and take part in the deliberations.
