5th International Malaysian Educational Technology Convention 2011

The Malaysian Educational Technology Association (META) cordially invites academics and professionals in to join us in our 5th International Convention. IMETC 2011 aims to address the main issues of concern within Open Education and will focus on aspects of delivery strategies, technological issues, curriculum development and instructional design. We have deliberately chosen the theme 'Towards a Ubiquitous Learning Environment' as we are still trying to integrate and synergise technology in the educational setting rather than a peripheral and superficial application that we seldom see in the teaching and learning process. Through the sharing of research findings and best examples of practice we hope this IMETC 2011 will contribute to all levels of education settings globally.

IMETC brings together academic research and practical applications of educational technology at all levels of education. IMETC brings together varied groups of people with different perspectives, seeking to bring top research and proven best practices together into one location, for the purposes of helping practitioners find ways to put research into practice, and for researchers to gain an understanding of additional real-life situations at all education levels.
