Apr 21, 2010
Admitting the fact that private schools were robbing people with both hands in the garb of new session fees, security, laboratory, water and health charges, Executive District Officer (Education) Muhammad Ashraf Malik said that Punjab government has decided to form a regulatory body to check and fix the ratio of private schools’ monthly fees. The EDO Education said that Punjab government has decided to fix category wise fee structures of private schools without any extra charges.
He also made it clear that private schools including international schools could not increase fee or charge extra money without prior permission of the concerned authority, if found charging extra money from parents against rules and regulations, strict legal action would be taken against them.
